有「Google 親生仔」之稱的 Pixel 系列新作品 Pixel 3 推出在即。有外國科技網站從 Google App 最新測試版發現一個有關「Pixel Stand」系統的代碼。可能意味著 Pixel 3 或會與一款特製的無線充電底座一同推出，而這個充電座或會讓手機變身成智能喇叭。
據外國科技網站 9to5Google 報道指出，最新版的 Google App 試用版當中，隱藏著徵求用家同意，當手機被鎖定及放在 「Pixel Stand」上時，智能助理 Google Assistant 能夠存取個人訊息並向用家提供建議，以及回答問題和採取行動。意味著當用家將手機放在 「Pixel Stand」上時，可讓手機透能助理化身成類似 Alexa 等家庭智能助理，讀取收到的訊息及獲取建議及回答問題。
事實上，早於 Android P Developer Preview 3 版本當中，用家已可窺見有關裝置的蹤跡。如果有關產品正式發布，有可能成為 Google 帶有熒幕的智能喇叭更便宜。
