早前元朗的警民衝突中，網民發現 Now 新聞的直播影片中，有接近 7 分鐘的片段，曾被刪除，Now 新聞官方就事件作出回應，表示沒有刪除及沒有權刪除在 Facebook 直播的片段，現在從新上載影片，並已向Facebook查詢事件。

Now新聞台表示：
有網民指，本台七月二十二日元朗襲擊事件Facebook直播重溫功能有七分鐘片段神秘消失，本台重申當日Now331直播台全程在網上及Facebook直播，本台絕無刪剪直播片段，亦無權在Facebook直播重溫片段中抽起七分鐘，正向Facebook了解事件。
關鍵時間突然消失
影片中 3:55:31會即時跳到4:02:39，整整有 7 分半時間斷開了，有網民指出，該片段是涉及警方與身穿白衫人士在祠堂中會面，警方在影片被記者問到是否有任何行動，及調查結果時，關於在南邊圍村，有沒有看到有人手持武器，有沒有作出拘捕行動，為何見到有多人手持鐵通及配戴頭盔，是否屬於攻擊性武器，如果屬於攻擊性武器，會否一視同仁，作出拘捕行動。當被問到有關一名白衫人士被帶到警車上，是否被拘捕還是協助調查，其中一名警方表示，要求記者向 警察公共關係科了解。並沒有回答記者的提問，及回應對現場的安全評估資料。

FB 直播只能「斬頭斬尾」 不能中間剪走
以現時 FB 供用戶開放的直播功能，直播期間或之後不能作出剪接，只可以在直播後進行長度修改，即長最開始位置或結尾位置作改動(斬頭斬尾)，並不能直接從影片中段，剪走部份內容，那麼為何中間會有 7 分鐘影片被消失？有關此奇怪情況，目前 Facebook 並未有作出任何回應。
