在過去，Microsoft 的「Windows 95」曾被移植到 Xbox One，甚至 Apple Watch。而最近 Slack 開發者 Felix Rieseberg 在 Github 網站上發佈了新 APP –「Windows 95」，使用簡單的 App 方式，在 Windows、macOS、Linux 平台上運動，讓用戶可以重溫二十年前用 Windows 95 的回憶。

據外媒《The Verge》報道，Felix Rieseberg 在 Github 網站上公佈了「Windows 95」APP 的源代碼及安裝程式。「Windows 95」 APP 內有 Wordpad﹑MS Paint 和 Minesweeper 等程式，全部能正常運作。可是 Internet Explorer 就因為太舊的緣故不能加載頁面。
「Windows 95」APP 的容量只是 129MB。即時同時運行所有 Windows 95 系統內的 APP 和遊戲，程式只會佔用 200MB RAM。如遇到任何問題，只要在 APP 內重新啟動便可。
